Heat pumps are a sustainable way to heat and cool homes. However, noise from the outdoor unit can be a challenge in densely populated residential areas. This is why ISOPARTNER NL, in collaboration with Vaillant, is introducing the daBo 33 noise screen. An affordable enclosure with stylish design that provides ease of installation and has minimal effect on heat pump efficiency.

Affordable and effective noise reduction
A sound screen is the ideal solution for sustainable renovations with hybrid heating. Especially in situations with limited installation options, space and budget. In this way, the strict noise standards for heat pumps at the property boundary can still be met. daBo 33 engaged the renowned acoustic agency AV-Consulting B.V. to conduct extensive noise measurements. These showed that the noise screen reduced as much as 8.2 dB at a distance of 2 meters with a measurement height of 1.5 meters. Even up close at a distance of 0.5 meters from the screen, the reduction is 5.7 dB!
This is possible thanks to high-quality, sound-insulating and absorbent materials. The screen is manufactured using Sonodamp S60P panel, see the power of Sonodamp. The daBo 33 noise barrier is available from stock, while supplies last, in color Ral 9002 (white) and Ral 7016 (anthracite gray). More colors and finishes are available upon request.
Developed and tested in cooperation with Vaillant, Daikin and Bosch
The daBo33 noise screen for outdoor units was developed in cooperation with heat pump manufacturer Vaillant. Vaillant provided its heat pump aroTHERM pure to create and test the sound screen. The specific construction and positioning of the screen barely affect the capacity of the heat pump and provides a very effective solution for reducing noise levels from outdoor units.
