From bathhouse to serene meeting venue: improved acoustics and nature inspiration
A historic bathhouse from 1900 has undergone a complete transformation and now serves as a unique meeting venue. The building has a central circular hall where all adjoining rooms come together. This hall, with its impressively high ceiling and generous dimensions, proved to be an acoustic challenge: the lack of sound absorption caused a disturbing reverberation, which was also audible in the surrounding rooms.
To address this problem, ISOPARTNER Netherlands equipped the space with SonoSober sound-absorbing panels for both the ceiling and walls. Thanks to careful design, in which the proportions and placement of the panels were matched in detail, an innovative solution was achieved. The result? The walls are now covered with acoustic panels that combine to form two impressive panoramic pictures of natural landscapes. This visual and functional upgrade creates a calm and inspiring environment, perfect for meetings and gatherings.
