Noise reduction in a dairy factory: sustainable and hygienic solution
Stricter requirements apply in the food industry than in standard industrial environments. When a dairy raised an acoustic problem in production, ISOPARTNER Netherlands was able to provide the right solution thanks to its extensive expertise.
At workstations near the pasteurising machine, noise levels were measured in excess of 80 dB(A), with peaks of over 85 dB(A) in the immediate vicinity of the noise source. This created an unpleasant working environment and a need for hearing protection.
To address this challenge, stainless steel Sonodamp panels were used to create an acoustic screen that met high hygiene and durability standards. In addition, sound-damping, hygienic absorption materials were strategically placed around the sound source.
Thanks to these measures, noise levels were reduced to below 80 dB(A) both at the source and at workstations. This allows employees to work safely and comfortably without hearing protection.
